These organizations provide resources, counsel, medical services and general assistance to community members and their families. In addition, many are donating a portion of June sales to AIDS Foundation Houston, The Montrose Center, Montrose Grace Place and other charities that support the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ+) community. It’s the time of year when certain bars and restaurants proudly hoist rainbow flags and add colorful cocktails and cheerful dishes to menus in support of Pride Month.
